Handsome Oak Art Deco Bookcase Bureau C1930s



A wonderful little English oak Art Deco desk bureau with two flights of bookcases either side. Something a little different and highly appealing of particular attractive design and scale.
This one is rather fabulous with its drop down work area with original leathered top, the two hidden two shelved bookcases acting as supports and a slender drawer with original plated handles. We have a working lock and key for the bureau which is always a pleasing bonus.



Condition is good having enjoyed a careful polish in our workshop so expect a good tone to the oak, there’s the odd aged mark or two but nothing new. The drawer is sliding as it should and the work area with pigeon holes and stamp drawer shuts level and locks if you want to keep something secret…

When purchasing from us we include delivery in the purchase price which is based on a one person delivery for England and Wales. Please call or email for quotes to Scotland, Northern Ireland, The Isles and for World-wide shipping.



For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
