Pair of Merrow Associates Rosewood and Polished Steel Coffee Tables


A little different in scale but both from a mid century home and looking very much the part - these from Merrow Associates are in chrome and Rosewood, they sit well and firm being heavy for their size. Sold in Harrods and Heals in the day…


Merrow Associates was a British furniture company, founded by Richard Young, known for high-end, mid-century designs featuring rosewood, chrome, and glass. The original company was short-lived, operating for about 12 years only.


This pair sit in similar order - the chrome is good with a little pitting but nothing particularly off putting. The rosewood veneer has not been repolished (we are not keen on the very shiny finish this can leave) and as such have day to day wear marks to the surfaces and are of pleasing grain and colour with a little nipping of the veneer around the some edges but again not off putting or fresh.


A great looking pair from English company Merrow Associates C1970s.
