Wonderful Large 10 Drawer Workshop Cabinet Chest

Great early 1900s piece from Yorkshire - we have a tremendous 10 drawer workshop cabinet. We’re liking the drawer set up and scale on this one. It sits well and proper with its original cast handles bedded in nicely, deep useful drawers and historically worn top.

Condition is good with a pleasing tone to the pine - it's very likely to have been made and used by the same person, so the craft is good - it's reassuringly very weighty and solid with a bottom plinth and simple form giving it that practical workman like look. We do have an historic replacement bottom side plinth but not a concern and of course genius marking to the top and sides but nothing new or out of place. A good thick tongue and grove back. We have ensured the cabinet is clean and ready for placing into a home or commercial space. If space is tight the top will come off for ease of placing.

For any large items that require two people to lift the item, we ask that you are available at the time of delivery to be able to give our shipper a lift off the van and into your house with the item. If you are not able to lift items yourself, we ask that you have someone on hand at the time of delivery to assist our shipper with moving the item. We are happy to quote for a two person delivery if required.
