A fine pair of early 19th century French Carcel-type table lamps in sheet metal, painted to imitate Sienna yellow marble and patinated metal in the shape of antique vases on pedestals, with square bases. Both table lamps Inscribed: “Lampe Silvant – par brevet d’invention – Industrie française avec garantie”.

This elegant pair of period lamps have been recently rewired for the UK and PAT tested. Original paint.
