"Moored Sailing Boats" Oil on Canvas, by Henri Larsson, Swedish. The impressionist style of this very compelling painting evokes a timelessness of lazy summer days. One's eye is drawn to the smaller blue boat in the foreground nestling against the larger sailing boat as they gently bob on the sea, in their own reflections, with the blue pink sky dappled in the water, and verdant green woodland beyond.
This painting has been fully cleaned and re-framed: A pale grey light washed wooden frame, with a silver slip surrounding a linen mount.
