A Charming, very Compelling and Exquisitely Executed Early 19th Century English School Portrait of Three Children in a Pastoral Scene. One's eye is drawn to the girl in the centre, the "Quintessential English Rose", in her fine organdy dress with pale blue satin sash, reaching up to the trumpet shaped white flowers above her. Below her arm to the right, is the youngest member of the group, in his plus fours with matching buttoned jacket, holding his straw boater.
