A well carved late 18th Century Mahogany hall chair, with fine acanthus leaf detail. C.1780

The solid shield-shaped back with curved acanthus leaves to the corners, centred with a hand painted panel of a neoclassical figure.

Supported on bold square tapering forelegs with shaped toes. Structurally sound with sympathetic repair to seat.
