Large Realism Painting African Grey Bull Elephant About To Charge Kruger National Park Bush.
Subject portrait scene in front profile of an Afrian Bull Elephant with tusks, who is about to charge, standing in the tall thick golden savannah grass, above a mix of light blue sky at the top with dark grey storm clouds lower down.

Signed by the known British artist Peter Jepson.
C1999 late end of the 20th century.
Presented in the original pretty contemporary frame.
A really impressive display size with the frame being 88.5 cm wide and 70cm high.
Medium oil pastel & watercolour mixed media on paper backed with board with protective front glass cover.
Artist biography Peter Jepson, a British artist who grew up in North West London before WW2 in 1936, he worked in the forces the RAF for a couple of years working as a radar technician after he finished his national service he decided to become a full time artist. He painted mainly in oil. He then created his own mixed media technique using pastel with watercolours and he adored painting wildlife animals. His works are influenced by David Shepherd, this work is of equal parity in quality in our opinion. Jepson was chosen for membership in the British Society of painters in 1990 and the Fine Art Trade Guild in 1992 then a fellow of the Society of Artists. He did an exhibition in New York in the early 1990’s then sold a selection of his works at Christies in London.

Offered in fine used condition, the painting surface is in very good order, the frame has general wear, scuffs, stains & minor chips commensurate with usage & age.
