Reminiscent of old stripped wallpaper,  simply beautiful. Early 1800's Galician chest and typical of Galicia- Volhynia a crown land of Austria. Unrestored (the way we like things) but in lovely condition with its characterful battle scars. The paintwork on this piece is heart warming. On its original wheels and  internal candle box. A lovely example of folkart furniture measuring 46"w x 23"d x 27"h.
