A striking pair of large heavy French Cast Iron Urns. c.1880.


Having classically elegant proportions, a wide rim and bulbous elongated egg and dart detailed bases. They are heavyweight and finely cast.


Their deep planting wells make these ideal for larger topiary or smaller trees.


Overpainted many times through their lifetime, the final colour is a soft white, and the layers of paint and great patination make them ideal to blend into a historical or modern garden bringing scale and drama through symmetry.
