Good quality cocktail or drinks cabinet in the style of an early 18th.c. cabinet on stand c.1930. Two door cupboard top fitted inside with two adjustable plate glass shelves (depth 14"). Cloth covered exterior painted gold and with 10 decorative pierced and engraved brass hinges, large matching escutcheon plate and corner bindings. Raised on a splendid carved and gilded walnut stand with two oak lined drawers. Carved and pierced apron below the drawers with gilded acanthus leaves. Raised on cabriole legs font and rear, joined with shaped and moulded stretchers for strength, all with carved acanthus detail and scrolling terminals over gilded and gadroon carved feet. Excellent condition, key supplied.
