Item Details

Two excellent mid 20th.c. garden statues c.1960. Standing 5'5" tall. Cast in reconstituted stone as allegorical Classical female figures shown full length, one carrying ears of corn and a sickle to represent summer, the other with bunches of grapes, representing the autumn. Standing on separate a 19" tall plinths with scrolling decoration and a 16" x 15" footprint. Old chip to one corner of the plinth for the figure of autumn, otherwise very good condition and attractively greened with moss and lichen.
