Charming family portrait in oil on canvas dated 1926. A young adult daughter sits beside her mother who holds a bouquet of flowers with her distinguished looking father stood behind. With a portrait of another daughter (or the same one years before) in an oval frame on the wall behind. Good costume detail, note the older fashions of the parents compared to the Art Deco style dress, hair and jewellery of the daughter. Clearly signed A. Verstraeten and dated Janviere (January0 1926. Very good condition. Presented as found, unframed on the original stretcher.
