Impressively proportioned mahogany and marble top console table c.1880. White marble top set within a deep egg and dart moulded edge. Flame mahogany veneered apron with a single slim drawer in the front. Raised on particularly well carved Renaissance revival front supports featuring lions head, acanthus carved front, floral garlands to the rear, scrolling sides and large claw feet. Over an open plinth or display shelf veneered to match and with a shaped front edge on carved front feet. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
