Superb George III mahogany chest on chest c.1810. In two sections with two short drawers over six long drawers of graduated height. Moulded cornice with a carved dental frieze over fluted detail. Matched mahogany veneered drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and period brass handles with an attractive rose motif at the centre of the backplates. Chamfered front corners with fluted detail flanking the drawers on the upper section. Ogee mouldings to the waist and base. Raised on tall bracket feet at the front and sides. Mahogany veneered sides, solid oak drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
