Item Details

Narrow French Louis XV style chest of seven drawers or semainier c.1960. Just 20" wide. Thick marble top with a serpentine shaped and moulded edge over a bank of seven small chestnut lined drawers. Mahogany and tulipwood veneers laid in a decorative symmetrical pattern across the drawer fronts and sides of the cabinet. Elaborately cast brass handles and escutcheon plates plus brass mounts to the shoulders, apron and front feet. Chestnut back panels. Very good colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
