Quality oak refectory dining table c.1930. 77" x 29½" top made from 1½" thick oak boards with cleated ends. Raised on thick pedestals joined (unusually) with double stretchers with through tenon and tusk joints. Cupid's bow shaped edges to the uprights and repeated on the sledge feet. Minor repairs and retouching to the top where oak slivers have been used to fill shrinkage gaps. Very good colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
Note the top can be removed (held in place with removable metal pins at each end) and the base disassembled for delivery into rooms with awkward access.
