Two plank top with a moulded edge and an applied moulding to the underside. Over three drawers with cockbeaded edges to the drawers fronts and later brass knobs. With a straight apron below the drawers and raised on sturdy square stiles front and rear, joined with an open potboard display shelf formed from two long oak boards and with unusually deep rails at the front and sides. This was a dresser designed for strength and everyday use with few if any refinements or decoration. Solid oak sides, pine drawer linings. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
