Item Details

Unusually small mid 19th.c. mahogany and marble top chest of drawers or commode c.1850. Just 31½" wide. White marble top over four drawers. Highly figured flame mahogany veneers arranged to form a symmetrical pattern to the drawer fronts with large decorative brass escutcheons. Flanked with tapering column pilasters with brass mounts top and bottom. Square plinth around the base and raised on short tapering block feet with brass mouldings. Some wear, generally very good condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
