Item Details

Delightful little French marble top side cabinet c.1930. Unusually small size, just 36½" wide. Ambergris coloured marble with rounded front corners. Over a slightly bow fronted cabinet with three drawers flanked with narrow cupboards to either side. Decorative front with mahogany and burr walnut veneers with inlaid crossbanding and ebony and boxwood stringing, all continued on the cabinet sides. Note also the mother of pearl inlays to the door fronts. Original Art Deco style brass handles, decorative brass mounts and escutcheon plates. On a crossbanded plinth raised on short turned legs with brass mounts to the feet front and rear. Excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Keys supplied.
