Item Details

French marble top commode chest of drawers c.1870. Inch-thick grey and pink figured marble with rounded corners over four drawers. Walnut veneers arranged in a striking symmetrical pattern across the front. Shallow top drawer with shaped front continued on the sides of the chest, three deeper drawers below with large inlaid brass escutcheons. Solid walnut sides, slim plinth veneered to match and raised on shaped bracket feet with inlaid detail to the front. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
