Item Details

Very smart French walnut wardrobe or armoire c.1920. Single door wardrobe with a full length dressing mirror to the door, fitted inside with a hanging rail and a single shelf (internal depth 17½"), over a useful drawer in the base. Flared cornice with a carved frieze and topped with a splendid pair of large turned and carved finials (easily removable). Crisp carved detail to the pilasters flanking the door. Fan shaped decoration at the top corners of the mirror, bevelled edge to the glass and the chamfered and shaped detail to the inner edge of the surrounding frame. Further carved detail to the drawer front, good quality brass handles and escutcheon. Note also the quality lock to the wardrobe door. Raised on turned bun feet front and rear. Superb quality with oak lined interior and drawer. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
