The Pencil Bench is a distinctive furniture piece designed by Boex 3D Creative Solutions, a UK studio founded by Sam and Will Boex. Manufactured in 2008, the bench features a seat composed of hundreds of upright pencils, each spring-mounted to support weight while remaining individually removable.


Only 10 benches were ever produced, along with this single larger version. The design transforms a common office item into functional furniture, combining playfulness with structural ingenuity, and was recognized in international design publications for its innovative approach to material and form.
