A large and striking painted tole 'Flowering Dahlia' triple branch appliqué, Italian 1940s/50s - naturalistically designed as a giant bouquet of flowers and foliage, the stems 'tied' with twisted twine, the serpentine branches terminating with scallop edged bulb or candle holders, painted throughout in variegated shades of greens, browns, russets and yellow.  In overall very good vintage condition with signs of age and minor paint loss in places but nothing detracting in our opinion. A lovely example of original botanical lighting.  Scarce in this design and size - exuberantly designed and full of movement.  Stunning on the wall! Can be wired and PAT tested - please enquire.
