A pair of statuesque Florentine six branch 'Cornflower' gilt tole & Murano glass botanical sconces, Italian, c1890s - designed with bright blue 'cornflowers' set amongst naturalistic foliage with plenty of movement and with detailed venation, the serpentine arms with open floral form candle holders, with decorative circular backplates and acorn finial details. In very good vintage condition with nothing detracting in our opinion. An elegant pair of original  botanical sconces - scarce in this large size and colour. Stunning on the wall! Presently for candles but can be wired and PAT tested - please enquire.
