A pair of good sized vintage French painted tole 'Potted Bay Tree' wall light sconces - naturalistically designed with a profusion of leafy branches emanating from elegant classical 'bronze' urn vases, the triple serpentine arms with elegant bulb holders.  In very good overall condition with nothing detracting in our opinion, the glossy dark green paintwork of the leaves possibly repainted at some point as there is no sign of paint loss or rusting. Rare finds in this very sought after botanical design and in this size and condition - unmarked but probably by the exclusive French maker Maison Pouenat.  Stunning on the wall!  Can be wired and PAT tested - please enquire.  Equally lovely with candles.
