A striking and highly decorative life-size early 20th Century English bronze stag.


Portrayed standing alert with one foreleg advanced and his head turned slightly to one side. The sculpture captures the strength and elegance of a young stag, with well-modelled musculature, naturalistic features and an impressive set of developing antlers. Cast with a rich dark patinated surface, the stag possesses a strong sense of movement and presence, making it equally suited to an interior setting, entrance hall, orangery or landscaped garden. The restrained modelling and confident stance give the piece a timeless quality, balancing realism with sculptural elegance. Raised on an integral shaped plinth base, the bronze displays excellent scale and decorative impact.
