A fine pair of large 19th Century Neo-classical style cast iron Torcheres or tall Candlesticks. With deeply gadrooned Neo-classical urns above fluted columns on a tripod base featuring The Winged Lion of St. Mark, patron of Venice. With an attractive aged patina, possible inspired by the works of Venetian artist Giovanni Battista, circa 1880.
