A rare and fine pair of Neo Classical Russian Hall Chairs, carved and stained mahogany decorated with satin inlays and crossbanding, gilt brass stringing and mounts. Having tapering fluted front legs terminating in gilt brass toes. The chairs retaining their 19th Century leather upholstery with decorative brass nailing, circa 1790.
