Item Details

A 19th century country house chesterfield sofa by the renowned Holland & Sons of London. Raised on turned and fluted ebonized and Gilt turned front legs with outward splayed rear legs and all retaining the original brass casters. The left rear leg bearing the Holland & Sons makers mark. The walnut frame with ebonized and gild decorative trim. C1870


Structurally in good solid order and retaining the original upholstery to the sprung arms and back. The seat is a more recent replacement.
