Item Details

A superb pair of mid 19th century English slipper chairs. Raised on tall walnut turned front legs splayed rear legs and all with the original gilt brass Cope & Collinson brass casters. Both chairs retain the original innards which are firm and intact. In the manner of and possibly by Holland & Sons although unstamped.

Structurally in good solid order. One chair front left leg has evidence of historic woodworm which has been treated by us and not active.
