A striking 1970s coat stand featuring rich faux tortoiseshell supports, a substantial clear Lucite upper section and base with polished brass fittings.


The stand retains its three matching curved coat hangers, beautifully finished in faux tortoiseshell with brass end caps. 4 x angular brass hooks provide additional hanging space for coats, hats and accessories.


The deep ruby and amber tones contrast beautifully with the Lucite and brass, creating a wonderfully glamorous and sculptural statement piece. Ideal for an entrance hall, dressing room, bedroom, boutique or stylish commercial interior.Superb heavy quality. 


In good vintage condition, with minor age-related wear and surface marks consistent with its age and use. One of the hooks has a slight bend, although this is barely noticeable unless closely inspected. Please refer to the photographs for further detail.
