It is disputed if this may have been an 'elephant' seat ( to be placed on an elephants back and carry a person'. Some say it is just a large regal residential seat/stool.
Upholstered with a fixed bottom section in combination with a thick loose cushion. Fabric; Travers/ USA. Cord piping.
