Item Details

Antique French Louis XV burgundy stone fire surround. A grand feature piece with protruding foliate embellishment to the frieze and legs.

Assembles in three pieces. The legs of this surround would previously have sat into a chimney. These can be now be cut down to sit flush with the mantle, which has a depth of 36cm.

Note: slate hearth shown is for photographic purposes only and is not included with the surround.

Some minor marks commensurate with previous use, but generally very good condition for age.
