Item Details

Elegant antique marble surround moulded in white marble. The deep mantel rests on a sienna marble set frieze centred by a repaired carved plaque possibly depicting the goddess Cybele and her lions. With oval paterae on the endblocks and fluted jambs. The opening is framed with sienna marble and measures 114.5cmW and 116cmH. Plaque has been repaired with some crack marks still visible.
