This particular piece is a stunning example of the beautifully rare shapes these minerals can create. Not only did they inspire artists including Henry Moore and Barbara Hepworth, French King Louis XIV was so seduced by gogottes, that he had numerous specimens in the gardens at the Palace of Versailles.
