This magnificent fossilised wall mural dates back to the early Eocene; 50 million years ago. Quarried from the Green River Formation of Southwestern Wyoming, this mural contains various extinct species including Diplomystus dentatus, Knightia eocaena, and a Cockerellites liops.


Fossilised fish plates like this are like a photograph of the earth’s prehistoric past. This piece is particularly nice as it shows various layers of stone, which are several million layers apart. An extraordinary piece.
