One of our favourite things we’ve ever bought this huge 18th Century mortar and pestle is truly extraordinary. The mortar is dug-out from a single piece of burr oak and has a fantastic swirling texture. The pestle, also in oak, is made from a single tree branch, probably from the same tree. Very primitive and beautiful pairing.
