Rare 17th Century bible box with great carved decoration on its original (integral) stand. Unusual for find a piece over 300 years old that has not been heavily restored or altered over time. With its original lock plate and hinges. and the initials EB inscribed on the front panel. A wonderful and useful piece of English history. Would make a good side or hall table
