A mid 19th century mahogany writing table, the beautifully patinated solid top with a plain rounded edge, set over a pair of flush frieze drawers with turned knobs, all raised on boldly turned tapered legs.


Robust, unadorned and understated, the table retains a clear, honest provincial character, serving perfectly today as a compact desk, hallway console or side table.


Very good antique condition with an attractively time-worn finish, the drawers benefit from historic attention to the linings ensuring they are sound and fully functional, alongside a stable old repair to a split on one drawer front. Structurally all solid, clean and ready to place.
