Item Details

An Edwardian Arts & Crafts oak occasional table of light, square form, the top richly carved in low relief with foliate and scrolling ornament around a central motif, all raised on slender square legs with shaped corner brackets forming shallow arches.


Beautifully embodying the Arts & Crafts ethos of honest construction, simplicity of form and hand-crafted ornament. The underside of the top retains traces of an abandoned carving layout design, evidence of the hand-led Arts & Crafts working process.


Very good antique condition with a rich colour and patina, features minor repairs to some of the corner brackets. Structurally sound and ready to place in the home.
