Retaining their original 1911 engraved brass presentation plaque, the chairs present a crisp, architectural silhouette, highly practical as a flanking pair in an entrance hall or on a landing.
Presented in very good antique condition with light surface wear consistent with age and use. Their construction reflects the honest, functional simplicity of the contemporary Arts & Crafts movement. Both chairs are structurally sound, clean and ready to place.
English, circa 1911.
