A characterful Edwardian pine country stool with its original, attractively time-worn painted finish. The beautifully shaped dished seat is set over sturdy square legs united by double side stretchers and low stretchers to the front and back.


Robustly well-made, this is a versatile vernacular piece with a clean, understated silhouette. Simple, sturdy and full of rustic charm, it would serve well as a fireside stool, boot room perch or extra seat at the kitchen table.


Very good antique condition with plenty of authentic aged surface wear. Structurally solid, clean and ready to place in the home.
