Item Details

An Edwardian satinwood two-tier occasional table of oval form in the Sheraton Revival style. The top with inlaid central fan motif and festoon stringing set over a conforming shallow frieze, all raised on slender legs united by stretchers supporting a lower tier with matching stringing.


A particularly characterful and attractive piece, the golden blonde hues offer a luminous warmth to alcoves or window bays.


Very good antique condition, the surfaces retaining a wonderful matured patina with light surface wear. The minor inactive historic flight holes and slight timber movement to the top are entirely stable, providing both charm and testify to the table's honest history. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place.
