Item Details

A heavy, solid oak octagonal side table, the richly figured top with a moulded edge set over two open shelf tiers, all raised on four solid uprights with arched cut-out feet.

Its open three-tier structure provides accessible four-sided storage for books, while the unadorned heavy solid oak construction reflects the restrained, pragmatic and unpretentious commercial Arts & Crafts influenced aesthetic of the 1920s.

Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.

English, circa 1920.
