https://www.decorativecollective.com/dealers/foundersA Regency period mahogany drop-leaf two-tier dumb waiter, the twin graduated circular platforms featuring reeded edges, set on a turned central pillar and raised on a tripod base of reeded legs terminating in brass castors.
The double drop-leaf action allows both circular platforms to fold down flat so the table assumes a shallow footprint designed for placement flush against a dining room wall. Resting on a wide tripod stance that remains completely stable on uneven historic floorboards, the piece also functions seamlessly today as an adaptable, mobile serving table or display stand.
Very good antique condition, displaying a deep original patina, minor historic repairs and a slight warp to each platform. Structurally sound and ready for immediate placement in the home.
English, circa 1820.
