A 19th century ebonised beech gypsy table, the circular top later upholstered in a plush deep magenta velvet with tasselled fringe, set over a tripod base of turned legs united by a central turned sphere.


The rich, historic colour profile provides a striking accent or focal point, bringing a touch of theatrical late-Victorian Aesthetic Movement charm to a formal sitting room or library.


Very good antique condition, with some honest surface wear consistent with age. The sympathetic later upholstery is in excellent condition. Structurally sound and ready to place.
