A quality Victorian tram bench by Fisher & Son of West Bromwich with a pivoting backrest allowing the seating direction to be easily reversed as required, the gothic-arched cast iron ends joined by solid mahogany planks forming the seat and backrest.


Designed for hardy public use on tram or train platforms, it adapts well for use in the home as a dining bench in an entertaining space with its useful reversible seating function.


Very good antique condition with some surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
