A late 19th century mahogany side table of low form, the solid top featuring rounded front corners, set over a single full-width frieze drawer, all raised on crisply turned legs.


Likely intended as a bedroom chamber table, its lower profile and broad surface work well alongside 19th-century bedsteads. Today, these distinct proportions solve a frequent framing challenge in the drawing room, providing an ideal height beside a deep-seated armchair or low sofa end where a standard side table stands too tall.


Very good antique condition, displaying a rich patina and light surface wear consistent with age. Structurally sound and ready to place.
