A pair of Victorian oak side chairs with decorative ceramic tile inserts to the backs, below a shaped crest rail and bobbin gallery, all raised on turned front legs.

An attractive pair of chairs for a hallway, kitchen or informal dining space. The tile backs provide a splash of colour and detail while remaining firmly grounded in honest, practical craftsmanship. Both chairs are stamped ‘BSFC’ to the underside, maker unknown.

Very good antique condition with only some light age related surface wear. One chair features a nice old repair to the front edge as shown. Both chairs are structurally sound, clean and ready to place in the home.
